Energy Giant AGL has placed sustainability front-and-centre in its new advertising campaign and brand refresh. By pledging to end its reliance on coal starting in 2022, it sets itself apart from competitors, and shifts focus on producing sustainable, clean energy.
This is a rebrand based around the concept of sustainability, to counter the company’s negative persona stemming from its high-level commitment to gas. Rightly or wrongly, this demonstrates the power of ‘being green’.
