‘My word is my bond’ - GREEN2VIEW signs the Banking & Finance Oath, reinforcing its operating principles of Trust, Transparency and Integrity in all that we do.
This simple phrase doesn’t hold the same value it once did - ‘my word is my bond’. Particularly in the aftermath of the findings of the Banking Royal Commission. But a new group is seeking to change this through the creation of the Banking & Finance Oath (The BFO).
The BFO is all about raising the moral and ethical standards of the Banking and Finance industry, through supporting a set of guiding principles which organisations and employees can adopt in their work.
Trust is the foundation of my profession.

I will compete with honour.
I will pursue my ends with ethical restraint.
I will create a sustainable future.
I will help create a more just society.
I will speak out against wrongdoing and support others who do the same.

In these and all other matters, My word is my bond.
